While nobody wants to pay more sales tax, most voters wanted to increase for stronger police protection. The Fairfield Police Department staff are also happy to keep their jobs.

Fairfield Crime Tied Indirectly To Where City Devotes Resources

Crime in central Fairfield California will drop when the city starts putting its available improvement dollars into all parts of the city.  Other parts of town are getting mega millions.  Let's avoid economic segregation.  Times are tough all around so let's distribute tax dollars safely. Seems central city tax dollars raised are going into other parts of town in an unfair fashion?  Glad the FFPD are doing the best job they can.
